ICCROM

ICCROM (International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property) was established in 1959 in Rome, Italy, where its headquarters are still located.

ICCROM offers courses, workshops, internships, and fellowships to mid-career professionals in the field of heritage conservation and management. It also conducts research and provides advice and guidance on various aspects of cultural heritage preservation and restoration. ICCROM collaborates with other international organizations, such as UNESCO, ICOMOS and IUCN, to promote and implement global standards and best practices for heritage protection.

UNDRR

UNDRR (United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction) is an intergovernmental organization that coordinates and supports the implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, a 15-year voluntary plan to reduce disaster risk and build resilience.

UNDRR works with governments, civil society, the private sector, academia and other stakeholders to promote a culture of prevention and preparedness. UNDRR’s vision is to create a more sustainable and resilient future for humanity through the conservation and restoration of cultural heritage.
